Your Responsibilities

• Financial Statements & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB-compliant), including analysis and commentary.
• Accounting: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support planning, forecasting, and reporting with data-driven insights.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Oversee invoice verification, payment processing, and receivables management.
• Tax & Compliance: Handle VAT returns and collaborate with external tax advisors.
• Audits: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
• Process Optimization: Analyze existing workflows and implement smarter, digital, and automated solutions.

What You Bring

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in tech, travel, or SaaS.
• Strong knowledge ofGerman commercial & tax law (HGB, UStG).
• Experience with accounting tools likeDATEV, SAP, or similar.
• AdvancedExcel skills and analytical thinking.
• Fluency inGerman and English (spoken and written).
• Independent, structured, and precise work ethic - combined with team spirit and an open mindset.
• Bonus: Professional certifications (e.g.,Steuerberater:in, ACCA, CPA)
