Job summary

Ascendion in Colombia is seeking an IT WMS Automation Consultant to support warehouse automation across large distribution and logistics environments. You will help implement, configure, and integrate WMS with automation technologies such as WCS, conveyors, robotics, and MHE.

This is a hands-on technical role for professionals who understand both the WMS side and the automation/integration side of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in WMS functional consulting, WMS implementation, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and end-to-end warehouse processes.
• Hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WM/WMS or comparable enterprise WMS platforms.
• Experience with WMS functional implementation, configuration, requirements gathering, and process design.
• Understanding of Order Management (OM/OMS) and its interaction with warehouse execution.
• Experience working with both warehouse operations teams and IT/project teams.
• Background in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, or large distribution center environments is strongly preferred.
• Ability to identify operational gaps and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Manhattan Active WM and OM is highly valuable, particularly within global logistics, 3PL, supply chain, or distribution environments.
