AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-assisted testing.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in quality engineering, proficiency with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright and REST-assured, and strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.

Formación

• Minimum 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation.
• Proficient with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Can read/write/debug test code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools is required.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with product, engineering, and architecture to embed quality in SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities.
• Design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid to balance speed and risk.
• Collaborate to improve code coverage and identify where tests add value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews to catch quality risks early.
• Leverage AI tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
