AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid.

The role requires 4+ years in quality engineering with hands-on AI-assisted testing tool experience, and offers a remote-friendly work environment with collaboration across global teams.

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing or Automation.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to understand functionality and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality at every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid and reduce reliance on UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and determine testing value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, design discussions to identify quality risks early.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, and coverage optimization.
