AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC, partnering with PMs, engineers, and architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-assisted testing tools.

The role requires 4+ years of quality engineering experience and hands-on AI-assisted testing tool experience; upper-intermediate English is required.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation.
• Proficient with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman.
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices; upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with PMs, engineers, and architects to embed quality across SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit to UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid, minimizing overuse of UI tests.
• Collaborate to understand code changes, coverage, and architecture for test value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that fit CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog and design reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects with engineering teams and perform root-cause analysis.
