AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, champion a right-sized test pyramid strategy, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.

Formación

• 4+ years of quality engineering experience in software testing/automation.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to integrate quality at all SDLC stages.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid over heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand code changes and improve test coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
