AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC by partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start rather than gate it at release.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, champion a right-sized test pyramid, and leverage AI-powered tools for efficiency and coverage optimization.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices required.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid by balancing unit, service, integration, and UI tests.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess code changes and automated-test value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation, and defect analysis.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through intelligent automation.
