AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC, partnering with product, software, and architects to embed quality from the start. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.

The role requires 4+ years of quality engineering experience with hands-on AI-assisted testing

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with PMs, engineers, and architects to embed quality into SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid, reducing over-reliance on UI tests.
• Collaborate to understand code changes, coverage, and architecture to maximize value of tests.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that fit CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design reviews to surface quality risks.
• Use AI tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization, validating results.
