AgileEngine LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC. You will design and maintain automated tests for unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a balanced test pyramid with AI-assisted testing tools.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start, and build scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and reliable releases.

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid, balancing unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize code coverage and architecture.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
