AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC by partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, emphasizing a right-sized test pyramid and AI-powered testing tools to optimize coverage and efficiency.

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code or scripts (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices required.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality is built in at every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid to balance unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand code changes, coverage, and architecture for value of tests.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Promote shift-left quality practices through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, defect analysis, and coverage optimization while validating outputs.
