AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle. You will partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start, designing and maintaining automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

AI-assisted testing tools and a right-sized test pyramid are central to your approach.

Formación

• At least 4 years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code in Java, JS/TS, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality in SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and releases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a balanced test pyramid over heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess code changes and coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that fit CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design discussions for quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools for test generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
