Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Audit Associate in Bogota, Colombia, onsite, to join our U.S.-based CPA audit practice. The role focuses on delivering high-quality audits under U.S. GAAP and IFRS with strong attention to risk, controls, and teamwork.

You will lead engagements, supervise staff, and collaborate with clients to ensure accurate financial statements and timely reports while upholding firm standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of audit experience, preferably with a U.S. firm.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and GAAS.
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CCH).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Based in Colombia with reliable internet.

• Lead and execute audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Perform risk assessments and substantive testing.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams.

Your Role

With a strong focuson integrity, innovation, and collaboration, we are expanding our international team andseeking a skilled Senior Audit Associate based in the Dominican Republic to join our auditpractice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP / IFRS andPCAOB/GAAS standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing workpapers and providing feedback.
• Perform risk assessments, substantive testing, and analytical procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve audit issues.
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of audit experience, preferably with a U.S. public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, GAAS, and audit methodologies.
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CCH, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.
• Based in the Dominican Republic with reliable internet and workspace.
