Job Duck, LLC is hiring a Virtual Personal Injury Case Manager to support cases from intake through settlement. You will coordinate medical and insurance matters, communicate with clients and attorneys, and manage discovery and filings in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have paralegal or legal assistant experience in personal injury, strong English communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting with limited supervision.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in a personal injury law firm.
• Experience with medical records, medical bills, and insurance carriers.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Keep attorneys updated on important case developments.
• Draft correspondence, emails, and other legal documents as requested.
• Organize settlement documents and assist with case closing activities.
• Assist with calculating and documenting firm expenses as cases approach settlement.
• Maintain records of outstanding liens and related correspondence.
• Obtain supporting information and documentation from clients and third parties.
• Gather and organize documents for discovery responses and assist with discovery.
• Support attorneys with preparing and responding to discovery.
• Review and organize medical records for the legal team.
• Assist with filing and managing no-fault and liability insurance claims.
• Follow up with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, courts and others to move cases forward.
• Support case management from intake through settlement or resolution.
• Track discovery deadlines and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests and responses.
