Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic. The role is remote, 30 hours per week, at $6 per hour, with a performance-based increase after 6 months.

You will handle insurance verification, denied claims, EOB processing, patient balances, and claims processing, while maintaining excellent English communication and a professional bedside manner with the care team.

Formación

• 1 year of Medical Virtual Assistant experience.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong executive presence and professional communication style.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability in a previous role.

Responsabilidades

• Insurance verification after patient check-in and documenting information.
• Review denied claims, identify reasons, assist with reprocessing.
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents and clear backlogs.
• Review outstanding balances and coordinate resolution steps.
• Support claims-related workflows, including Cigna and VA claims.
• Assist with vendor payment coordination and timely payments.
• Monitor SOAP note completion, accuracy, and compliance.
• Track missed/cancelled appointments and scheduling trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed/cancelleds, EOB backlog, and denials with insights.
• Coordinate team communication and ensure critical tasks are followed.
