Go Lean Health is seeking a highly capable Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support the operational health of a busy chiropractic clinic. This remote role requires someone who is sharp, proactive, detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and capable of owning critical clinic workflows with minimal supervision.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role.

Responsabilidades

• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance after check-in and document details.
• Denied Claims Management: Review denials, identify reasons, and assist with reprocessing.
• EOB Processing: Review and process EOBs and clear backlogs.
• Patient Balance Resolution: Track and resolve outstanding balances.
• Claims Processing: Support claims workflows, including specific payer reviews.
• Payment Coordination: Assist with vendor payments and timely processing.
• SOAP Note Monitoring: Track note completion and accuracy.
• Appointment Tracking: Monitor missed/canceled appointments and trends.
• Reports and Operational Tracking: Prepare metrics and offer actionable insights.
• Team Coordination: Facilitate clear communication among provider, care team and staff.
• Operational Support: Identify workflow gaps and propose practical improvements.
