Go Lean Health seeks a highly capable Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic. This remote role requires sharp, proactive, detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent individuals who can own clinic workflows with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will think ahead, identify operational gaps, and help remove administrative and billing tasks from the provider’s plate. Excellent English, executive presence, and accountability are essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership or ownership in a previous role.

Responsabilidades

• Insurance verification after patient check-in and ensure accuracy of insurance data.
• Review denied claims, identify denial reasons, and assist with reprocessing.
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits documents and clear backlogs.
• Review outstanding balances and coordinate next steps for resolution.
• Support claims-related workflows including Cigna and VA claims; escalate when needed.
• Assist with vendor payment coordination and timely payments.
• Monitor SOAP note completion and compliance; flag issues.
• Track missed/cancelled appointments and scheduling trends for revenue impact.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed appointments, EOB backlog, denied claims, and metrics.
• Support smooth communication between provider, care team, and administrative staff; ensure priorities are followed.
• Proactively identify workflow gaps, billing concerns, and improve clinic efficiency.
