Qualifikationen

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Minimum 1 year as Virtual Medical Assistant supporting U.S.-based practices.
• Hands-on experience with patient calls, scheduling, EMR documentation and clinical workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional phone etiquette and empathetic communication.
• Active HIPAA certification or willingness to complete before first day.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a remote healthcare team.

Aufgaben

• Answer incoming calls in English and Spanish and route messages.
• Coordinate patient communications and referrals; assist with appointment scheduling.
• Manage EMR workflows, patient messages, staff queues and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with VMAs and on-site staff to handle high call volumes and follow-ups.
• Document and improve SOPs to support efficient clinic operations.
