Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to support a U.S.-based pulmonary practice operating across three clinic locations. You will handle patient communications, scheduling, and EMR-related tasks while maintaining high service standards. Strong bilingual skills, HIPAA readiness, and prior experience with U.S.

healthcare operations are required. This is a remote role with 30 hours per week and Monday–Friday, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum 1 year supporting U.S.-based healthcare practices.
• Experience with patient calls, scheduling, EMR documentation and workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Active HIPAA certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Ability to work independently in a remote healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls in English and Spanish and route messages.
• Monitor EMR messages, queues, referrals, scheduling, and admin workflows.
• Collaborate with clinic staff and VMAs to manage high call volumes and SOPs.
