Job summary

BizForce is seeking a Health Guide (Medical Assistant) for a fully remote, US-based telehealth practice focused on orthopedics, sports medicine, and physical therapy. You will manage patient inquiries, conduct virtual intakes, schedule consultations, and coordinate care with clinicians.

Qualifications

3+ years in patient-facing healthcare roles.
Excellent English and Spanish communication.
Familiar with EHR/EMR and HIPAA.
Experience with RingCentral and telehealth.
Willing to work US business hours, weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound patient calls and inquiries using RingCentral.
Conduct virtual intakes and document medical histories and insurance information.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate virtual consultations with providers.
Assist with virtual consultations and relay clinical questions to providers.
Monitor virtual waiting rooms and troubleshoot basic tech issues.
Proactively outreach to confirm appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
