Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant (Bilingual/Spanish) to join our remote team. You will review medical treatments, manage records and liens, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely updates for multiple cases.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a medical assistant, medical office, or healthcare role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and track client medical treatments through each phase of the treatment lifecycle.
• Request and obtain medical and billing records, affidavits, efficiently and timely.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of medical and billing records.
• Proactively contact medical providers and records/billing departments for status updates; some via Chartswap.
• Provide weekly status updates to track records and affidavits for each client.
• Research and manage subrogation liens, including Medicaid/Medicare, hospital liens and related claims.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of 30-40 active cases and scale as caseload grows.
• Assist the Case Manager in confirming client received necessary medical treatment as per referrals.
