Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience handling phone calls in healthcare or customer-facing roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• HIPAA knowledge or experience with HIPAA-compliant workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls with patients, pharmacies, payer offices, and healthcare contacts.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English and Spanish.
• Provide appointment reminders, follow-up calls, rescheduling support, and general patient assistance.
• Manage new and existing patient scheduling through phone, email, and text; ensure calendar accuracy.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits before appointments and document results in the EMR.
• Process referrals and prior authorizations; track approvals and follow-ups as needed.
