Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will complete work orders, prepare make-readies for leasing, manage materials, document activities, maintain grounds, and support cost-control while following safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Formación

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling of vendors and contractors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and notifies the supervisor about re-ordering.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when possible.
• Complies with safety policies and participates in routine safety meetings.
• May inspect work by contractors to ensure quality standards.
• Assists in property inspections and communicates needs to management.
