AgileEngine in Manizales, Colombia seeks a Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure using Python/TypeScript, AWS, and Kubernetes. You will develop reliable platform services, optimize performance, and ensure security, collaborating with engineering and data science teams on AI-native tooling.

Responsibilities include implementing best practices, monitoring, and communicating status to leadership while embracing flextime and hybrid work options for work-life balance.

Formación

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and REST/gRPC development.
• 1+ year of AWS and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium).
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (registry, streaming, event bus, caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of AI-native SDLC usage (Claude Code/Cowork or similar).
• Excellent communication, fast learner, ownership mindset.
