AgileEngine in Medellín is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and work with service mesh technologies. This role requires experience with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling.

You will build reliable platform services, monitor performance, and collaborate with leadership on status, risks, and improvements.

Formación

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years with AWS and Kubernetes; service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd, Cilium).
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork or similar.
• Excellent communications skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
