AgileEngine in Cartagena, Colombia is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, design reliable platform services, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems secure and performant.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years server development in Python or TypeScript, experience with REST/gRPC APIs, AWS and Kubernetes, and familiarity with service meshes and

Formación

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design with REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience; service mesh know-how.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, etc).
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code/Cowork or similar).
• Excellent communication, fast learner, ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
