AgileEngine in Bogota, DC, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid company growth. You will manage AWS and Kubernetes resources, work with service meshes, and apply AI-native tooling to keep systems performant and secure.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in Python/TypeScript server development, 3+ years API design, 2+ years AWS/Kubernetes, and experience with LLMs and SDLC AI-native workflows.

Formación

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years with AWS and Kubernetes; experience with service mesh tech.
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (registry, streaming, cache).
• 6+ months with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code, Claude Cowork, etc.).
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance; fix bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries; ensure security.
• Implement best practices to optimize development efficiency.
