Axiom Technologies in Bogotá is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. You will troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals and assist with hardware installations at the client location.

The role requires basic networking knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in on-site environments while adhering to client security procedures.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing on-site tasks.
