Lean Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator in Bogotá, Colombia. The role requires 1 year of experience in Track & Trace, Logistics, Transportation, or Dispatch, plus strong communication with carriers and internal teams to keep shipments on plan.

You will monitor shipments end-to-end, coordinate pickups, manage pre-alerts, and document progress. Proficiency in TMS and MS Office and English at B2+ are required.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in Track & Trace, Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or a related ops role.
• Familiarity with Track & Trace and proactive shipment monitoring is valued.
• Proficiency with TMS systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
• English level: B2+ (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and track shipments through the transportation lifecycle using phone, email, and TMS.
• Maintain load statuses, milestones, ETAs, and location updates accurately.
• Coordinate pickups and confirm shipment details with carriers and drivers.
• Advance pre-alerts and ensure shipment information is complete and accurate.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, dispatchers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Record PODs and documentation; escalate delays or issues promptly.
• Ensure all loads are actively monitored until delivery.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with 1 year of experience in Track & Trace, Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or a related operations role.

Candidates with experience in any one of these areas are encouraged to apply. Previous Track & Trace experience is also valuable, even if it is their only logistics-related experience.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable communicating with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams to ensure shipments move according to plan and any issues are identified and escalated promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle using phone, email, and TMS platforms.
• Maintain accurate load statuses, pickup and delivery milestones, ETAs, arrival/departure times, and location updates.
• Coordinate pickup appointments and confirm shipment details with carriers and drivers.
• Manage and follow up on pre-alerts and ensure required shipment information is available and accurate.
• Request and document ETA updates, shipment progress, and location information.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, planners, and internal teams to support smooth shipment execution.
• Maintain detailed and accurate shipment records, notes, and updates within internal systems.
• Identify, communicate, and elevate delays, discrepancies, missed milestones, or other operational issues.
• Retrieve and validate shipment documentation when inconsistencies or missing information are identified.
• Forward Proofs of Delivery (PODs) and other required documentation to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure all assigned loads are actively monitored through successful delivery.
• Support accurate and timely updates throughout the full shipment lifecycle.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in at least one of the following areas: Track & Trace, Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch, or a related ops role.
• Candidates with Track & Trace experience alone are welcome to apply.
• Full-time availability, including night shifts and weekends.
• Knowledge of U.S. domestic ground freight, including FTL, LTL, and intermodal transportation.
• Understanding of key shipment lifecycle milestones from pickup through final delivery.
• Experience coordinating pickup appointments and managing pre-alerts is a plus.
• Hands-on experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience with e2open TMF and/or Descartes Aljex is strongly preferred.
• Experience communicating with carriers, drivers, dispatchers and other transportation partners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate shipment information.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and elevate operational issues in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and excel.
• English level: B2+, written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
