EPAM Systems in Colombia is seeking a detail-oriented Track & Trace Analyst to monitor shipments, maintain visibility, and resolve exceptions across the transportation lifecycle. The role collaborates with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely communication and accurate documentation.

This is a temporary seasonal contract starting in November and concluding at the end of December.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in Track & Trace or logistics.
• Experience with TMS, carrier portals, and tracking platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor shipments to ensure accurate tracking.
• Follow up with carriers/drivers for status and ETA updates.
• Maintain shipment data in TMS or client systems.
• Investigate delays, missed appointments, route deviations.
• Communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with carriers, dispatchers, drivers, brokers to resolve issues.
• Escalate delays per client SLAs.
• Track milestones and events like pickups/deliveries.
• Document all shipment communications and actions.
• Prioritize shipments based on urgency.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Track & Trace Analyst to monitor shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle, maintain accurate shipment visibility, and proactively identify and resolve exceptions that may impact delivery performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal operations teams to ensure timely communication and accurate documentation across all relevant systems. This is a temporary seasonal contract starting in November and concluding at the end of December.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle to ensure accurate and timely tracking
• Follow up proactively with carriers and drivers to obtain shipment status, location, and updated estimated arrival times
• Maintain accurate shipment information in the applicable TMS, tracking platform, or client system
• Investigate shipment exceptions, including delays, missed appointments, lack of movement, route deviations, and other service disruptions
• Communicate shipment updates and exceptions to customers and internal stakeholders according to established procedures
• Coordinate with carriers, dispatchers, drivers, brokers, and other relevant parties to resolve tracking issues
• Escalate critical delays or service issues in accordance with client-specific escalation procedures and SLAs
• Track appointment times, pickup and delivery milestones, and other relevant shipment events
• Document all shipment-related communications and actions properly
• Prioritize shipments and exceptions based on urgency, customer requirements, and potential operational impact
• Provide accurate shipment visibility and timely updates to support the operations team
• Identify recurring carrier or tracking issues and report trends to supervisors or operations management
• Adhere to client SOPs, quality standards, security requirements, and established operational procedures
• Assist with reporting and other operational activities related to shipment visibility and transportation performance

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Track & Trace, logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, dispatch, or a related field
• Experience working with transportation management systems, carrier portals, and tracking platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond appropriately to time-sensitive exceptions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher, depending on client requirements
