Job summary

Trolley is seeking a strategic leader to own the global talent-operations function for a client program. You will manage P&L, budget, and a multi-month hiring plan, replacing agency placements with a scalable internal unit.

You will work with client leaders and our CEO, ensuring governance, payroll, and contractor management while leveraging AI and automation to optimize spend and outcomes. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Qualifications

• Has run a business or function end to end with a P&L and a team.
• Can walk through budget line by line on screen share.
• Controller-level finance skills: ledger, payroll, payables, receivables, cash flow, forecasting, monthly close and budgets.
• Knowledge of global hiring: contractor and employee classification, employer-of-record models, local labor law and contract writing.
• Ability to lead managers, decide with data, handle difficult conversations, treat compensation and personal data with discretion.
• Fluent Spanish and English writing and speaking.
• Advanced use of AI in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the unit's P&L, budget, forecast and cash view with monthly reporting and healthy margin on all-in cost (2.5M–5M annual workforce cost).
• Develop a workforce plan and hiring calendar; deliver ~30 hires over 6–7 months.
• Oversee monthly close, payroll and contractor payments, invoicing and collections with audit-ready records.
• Lead the core team and recruiter pool with capacity planning, pay on accepted shortlists and retained hires, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure high-quality selection: screening, assessments and final top-five shortlist before client approval.
• Handle contractor agreements, SOWs, country classification, background checks and work authorization with counsel review.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, access, agencies, vendors and recruiting tech; leverage AI and no-code automation to reduce spend.
• Provide weekly reports and monthly/quarterly reviews; document procedures and playbooks for scalable operations.
