Overseas is seeking a Senior HR Director to build the people function from the ground up. You will own talent acquisition, executive recruiting, org design, and employee relations, with a metrics-driven mindset and a focus on HR ROI.

You will personally headhunt C-suite and senior leaders, ensure compliance across distributed US-based teams, and drive a culture of accountability while aligning HR processes with business strategy. This is a 100% remote role, working US Central Time hours.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in scaling a company from ~40 to 100+ employees.
• Ability to headhunt and close senior leadership roles including C-suite.
• Strong exposure to US employment practices and compliance, including distributed teams.
• Exceptional spoken and written English with executive presence.
• Proven track record building HR processes from scratch and driving ROI.

Responsabilités

• Own recruitment at all levels, from entry to executive search.
• Lead executive searches, including sourcing, assessment, and closing senior candidates.
• Plan resources/headcount with business unit leaders to anticipate hiring needs.
• Design onboarding and offboarding to reach full productivity quickly and ensure compliance and respect.
• Design performance evaluations and quarterly KPI cadence with leadership.
• Identify fit issues early with proper documentation and transitions where needed.
• Build career maps and develop managers’ leadership capability to cascade accountability.
• Lead organizational design as the company scales and evolves.
• Handle employee relations promptly with fairness and discretion.
• Write and administer policies in line with US employment regulations.
• Manage US employment law compliance across distributed teams, including EOR/contractors.
• Lead change initiatives with clear communication and enforcement.
