Sur Global is seeking a reliable Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support patients and healthcare teams remotely. You will handle patient calls, coordinate appointments, and manage medical information with accuracy and care.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, experience in healthcare or customer-facing roles, and the ability to work US client hours in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in customer service, call centers, or healthcare support roles.
• Ability to handle high-volume calls with empathy and professionalism.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with remote work and learning new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients and providers with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, maintaining accurate calendars.
• Access and update patient information in EMR/EHR systems, ensuring confidentiality.
• Verify insurance eligibility and respond to coverage inquiries.
• Support patient intake, admissions, and front-desk processes.
• Communicate clearly with English- and Spanish-speaking patients and teams.
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry and record maintenance.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive medical information.
