Job summary

Blacksmith Agency Llc is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Santiago or nearby areas for remote work with extensive travel across Chile. You will lead installation, commissioning, and on-site support for high-tech inspection systems, while training clients and distributors and reporting field feedback to our engineering HQ.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial equipment installation and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, after-sales service, or on-site technical support.
Associate degree or higher in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Information, or Automation Control.
Fluent English required to communicate with global HQ teams.
Willingness to travel frequently across Chile to client sites.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site installation, commissioning, testing and delivery of high-tech inspection systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues on-site to minimize downtime.
Provide operational and basic maintenance training to clients and local distributors.
Document field feedback and coordinate with headquarter engineering to close issues.
Coordinate with departments to streamline project delivery and improve customer satisfaction in Chile.
