Job summary

Shanghai BSF Human Resources Co., Ltd. seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Santiago or surrounding areas to lead on-site installation, commissioning and after-sales support for advanced automated inspection systems in South America.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on installation/maintenance experience, fluency in English, and willingness to travel across Chile. This position is based in Santiago with a fully remote work environment and close collaboration with HQ

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance or on-site support.
• Associate degree or higher; preferred majors include Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, CS, Electronic Information, or Automation Control.
• Fluency in English for communication with HQ teams.
• Willingness to travel across Chile to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation, debugging, acceptance testing of high-tech inspection systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide operational and basic maintenance training for clients and distributors.
• Coordinate with HQ engineering to close feedback loops and ensure successful project delivery.
• Support market delivery and customer satisfaction in Chile.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly motivated Field Service Engineer based in Santiago or its surrounding areas. In this role, you will serve as the core technical expert on the ground, delivering elite after‑sales support and ensuring seamless equipment deployment across the region. This position offers a fully remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and Commissioning: Lead the on‑site installation, debugging, acceptance testing, and successful delivery of high-tech inspection systems.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical/electrical issues on‑site to minimize client downtime.
• Client Empowerment: Conduct professional operational and basic maintenance training for clients and local distributors.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Gather, document, and report technical feedback from the field, collaborating closely with the headquarters' engineering team to close the issue loop.
• Market Support: Coordinate closely with relevant departments to streamline project delivery and enhance overall customer satisfaction in Chile.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑onexperience in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, after‑sales service, or on‑site technical support.
• Educational Background: Associate degree or higher, with a strong preference for majors in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Information, or Automation Control.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required to communicate seamlessly and discuss complex technical issues with our international headquarters' teams.
• Mobility and Execution: Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Chile to client sites; possesses strong hands‑on execution and high service awareness.
• Soft Skills: An enthusiastic, positive, and highly responsible professional who can communicate effectively and solve critical technical problems independently under pressure.
