Job summary

Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz seeks a System Support Engineer for a 12-month assignment to support diagnostic systems through development, qualification, and post-launch phases. The role emphasizes autonomous troubleshooting, quality documentation, and cross-functional teamwork within a regulated lab environment.

Candidate should have an engineering or related degree with hands-on experience, and strong English (German a plus) to collaborate with global R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Recognized vocational qualification (EFZ) in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Precision/Automotive Mechanics or a tertiary engineering degree.
• Hands-on experience in a technical/service environment is required.
• Strong analytical and structured troubleshooting skills in hardware, software and IT setups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert and main contact for internal customers regarding service aspects.
• Install Roche Diagnostics systems (hardware/software) across development phases following installation manuals.
• Perform IQ/OQ, preventive maintenance, and autonomous troubleshooting and repair of hardware/software.
• Manage deployment and servicing of systems and configurations.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation per quality standards.
• Provide technical support for global development trials.
