Job summary

ITech Consult AG in Rotkreuz is seeking a System Support Engineer (m/f/d) to provide technical service for Roche Diagnostics systems across development phases, including early prototypes. The role requires hands-on problem solving in a regulated lab environment and collaboration with cross‑functional R&D teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or life sciences, experience with IQ/OQ, and strong English skills (German a plus).

Qualifications

• HF or university degree in an engineering or life sciences discipline or completed technical vocational training with relevant practical experience.
• Initial experience in, or clear willingness to work in, a highly regulated industry and in laboratories with biosafety levels S1 and S2
• First hands‑on experience in a technical or mechanical occupation
• Customer- and service-oriented team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, featuring an autonomous and proactive work style
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert and primary point of contact for internal customers regarding all service aspects
• Install Roche Diagnostics systems (hardware and software) across all development phases-including early prototypes-as well as according to installation manuals in the Roche Diagnostics Knowledge (RDK) database
• Perform system qualifications (IQ/OQ), execute preventive maintenance, and conduct autonomous troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software issues
• Manage the deployment and servicing of various systems and their specific configurations
• Ensure comprehensive documentation in accordance with established quality standards
• Provide technical support for global development trials
