Zusammenfassung

The post is located in the PCT Operations Division, PCT Services Department, within the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva. The Team Head must organize and manage the PCT Operations Service 1 activities to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery for international patent applications and related documents.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree; a first-level university degree with two years of relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of an advanced degree.
• At least seven years of relevant experience, including three in an IP office or comparable environment.
• Experience supervising a large team and experience with formalities examination of patent applications.
• Experience in providing customer service and training, with knowledge of customer experience management.
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English and proficiency in at least one PCT publication language.

Aufgaben

• Lead, plan and control the team's work, setting priorities and allocating resources for timely, quality delivery.
• Lead client advising activities and develop and manage client communications.
• Organize and perform training activities for clients and align teamwork with client needs.
• Assist and advise team members on complex issues; develop training plans for staff.
• Coordinate with Service Heads and other units to foster collaboration and report on performance.
