World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva seeks an Assistant Client Advisor for the PCT Client Service Teams. The role supports formalities, publication processes and customer service for international patent applications, in two languages including English, with a strong focus on accuracy and timely responses.

The position is a limited-term fixed-term post (two years) with mobility across PCT teams.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of relevant professional experience with patents or IP offices.
• Experience with formalities examination of patent applications.
• Experience in customer service.
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of one language and a good knowledge of a second language (one is English) among PCT languages.

Aufgaben

• Identify repetitive defects for the same client and engage with clients as instructed.
• Examine formality requirements in two languages and ensure completeness of applications.
• Provide timely responses and follow up with users and authorities.
• Prepare and review publication work within deadlines; communicate delays to Team Head.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Support PCT electronic services and test systems when requested.
