World Intellectual Property Organization is seeking a specialist to serve as a focal point for key applicants and their agents in PCT operations. The role emphasizes high-level customer service, formalities examination expertise, and collaboration with IT tools and regulatory updates.

The incumbent will work under supervision of the Team Head, liaise with external customers and PCT IT specialists, and participate in seminars as required.

Qualifikationen

• First-level university degree required.
• At least six years of relevant professional experience with the PCT or similar IP office environment.
• Experience in formalities examination of patent applications and customer service.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of French or German is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Serve as focal point for key accounts and provide guidance and trainings to ensure high service levels.
• Provide expert PCT input to IT tools, system updates, and rule changes.
• Analyze workload, propose efficiency improvements, and maintain knowledge base.
• Draft inputs for knowledge base updates based on user feedback and surveys.
• Examine complex applications and provide training plans and coaching to team members.
