Zusammenfassung

The World Intellectual Property Organization seeks a Team Head of PCT Client Service to lead Teams 5, 6 and 9 and ensure high-quality service delivery for international patent applications.

The role requires strong leadership, IP operations experience, and the ability to manage client relationships. It is a 2-year contract based in Geneva, with English language proficiency and knowledge of additional PCT languages preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Seven years of relevant experience, including IP office exposure.
• Experience supervising a large team.
• Experience in formalities examination of patent applications.
• Experience with customer service and training.
• Fluent in English and at least one PCT publication language.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the team’s work to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee client advising activities and develop client communications.
• Organize training for target clients and align team with client needs.
• Guide staff on complex issues and develop training plans.
• Manage team staff, including absence management and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Service Heads to enhance collaboration with PCT users.
