Job summary

Maison Desplanches in Geneva seeks a qualified and passionate baker to join our production team. You will ensure the daily production of our breads and bakery products, weighing and preparing raw materials, and mastering kneading, fermentation, dividing, shaping, and baking.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a baker-pastry chef, a CAP baker, or an equivalent diploma.
• Professional experience of 2 to 5 years in a similar position.
• Good mastery of artisanal baking techniques.
• Rigour, autonomy, and organisational skills.
• Team spirit, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Good command of French.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily production of breads and bakery products, respecting quality standards.
• Prepare, weigh, and work the raw materials necessary for production.
• Master the stages of production: kneading, fermentation, dividing, shaping, and baking.
• Participate in the development of new products and improve our range.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures as well as hygiene and safety standards.
• Contribute to the good organisation and smooth running of the workshop.
