Job summary

Teceze is seeking an experienced Deskside Support Engineer for an onsite IT role in Switzerland. You will provide onsite and remote support to end users, troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, desktops and peripherals, and manage IMACD activities using ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate has hands-on hardware, software and network troubleshooting skills, strong customer service abilities, and German language proficiency as a mandatory requirement for this onsite position.

Qualifications

• Experience in Deskside/Desktop/EUC support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• German language proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Deskside Support Engineer for an onsite IT support opportunity in Switzerland.

• Provide onsite and remote IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, LAN/Wi-Fi and basic application issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade and replace end-user devices.
• Perform IMACD activities (Installations, Moves, Additions, Changes and Decommissions).
• Support device builds, software installations, patching and standard configurations.
• Handle incidents and service requests using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Ensure timely ticket resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Escalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 support teams.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Coordinate with Service Desk, infrastructure teams, vendors and other support teams.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused IT support.
• Experience in Deskside Support / Desktop Support / EUC Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IMACD activities and IT asset management.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• German language proficiency is mandatory.
