Johnston Builders is a privately owned contracting firm founded in 1990 by Don Johnston. With a current staff of 45 professionals, the firm has successfully completed a wide array of construction projects in the public and private sectors across Western and Northern Canada. About the Opportunity
Currently, Johnston Builders has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in St. Albert, AB, or Whitehorse, YT on a full-time basis. Occasional travel to project sites will be required.
In this role, you’ll support both field and office operations across a diverse construction portfolio in Western Canada. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources while fostering a supportive and values-driven workplace culture.

To qualify, you will need post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR management role. Experience in the construction industry or supporting multi-site, field-based workforces is preferred.
