Role: Program Coordinator
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Nunavut; conducting targeted outreach; monitoring grants and sponsorships; and managing all programs and initiatives in the region (some travel required). The role involves broad responsibilities and daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including:
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to anti-racism and diversity, and have a degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in social sciences, public policy, or related fields, with training in race relations, anti-racism, grant administration, and community engagement. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
Remuneration:
This is a permanent full-time, unionized position working in a hybrid model from home. Candidates can be based in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, or Winnipeg, with some travel for conferences and events. Compensation includes a salary of $73,000 – $76,000, 3 weeks vacation, paid personal and sick days, RRSP matching, and medical benefits.
