- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
- Maintain Alaska Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
- Clear 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
- Some shift work, on-call, and night shifts due to weather conditions
- Benefits and RSPs provided by CLAC
- Camp provided in remote locations
- Preference given to local applicants
- Base rate of $28.99 to $35.55/hr, depending on experience and location
This wage range applies, with potential additional incentives such as travel and accommodation allowances for remote positions.
