We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food items in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and a passion for delivering quality food service.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining areas.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing job duties.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the workplace.
