Role Description
We’re looking for a passionate and driven journalism student to help us scale the volume of local news content. This remote-based, temporary role is ideal for someone eager to gain experience leveraging AI tools to deliver impactful journalism content. You’ll be on the front lines of a new model for local journalism—one that combines editorial judgment with AI efficiency to reach communities faster, better, and more affordably.
What You’ll Do
Publish a high volume of local news stories using AI-assisted workflows
Select and add timely, relevant topics based on community interest
Ensure your sites hit daily/weekly publishing and engagement targets
Maintain journalistic integrity while embracing digital speed and scale
Take ownership of several local news sites
