Job Summary
The Sales Representative is a key member of the sales team, focusing on relationship management and revenue generation within a designated territory. This role involves working closely with motorsports dealerships, a team of outside and inside sales representatives, and reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote the brand at each dealership, educating ownership on maximizing profitability with KLIM across all categories.
- Develop and execute individual dealership service plans, including contact type and frequency, based on dealership size and type; record all activities in CRM.
- Identify revenue creation activities within your territory, targeting new and existing customers.
- Prospect new accounts and expand the customer base.
- Attend key shows, events, races, and support dealer open houses.
- Serve as a technical apparel specialist, providing ongoing product and sales training to dealers.
- Merchandise snowmobile and motorcycle dealerships with KLIM fixtures and signage.
- Implement Exchange and Rotation options available at KLIM.
- Collaborate with dealers on co-op advertising to build the brand.
- Participate in industry associations and clubs.
- Network with industry professionals to identify and support influencers.
- Build relationships with local racers, Search & Rescue teams, and law enforcement.
- Increase visibility in local media, social media, forums, newsletters, and catalogs.
- Provide ongoing product and sales training to customers.
- Support KLIM’s map policy and protect brand image.
- Handle customer service escalations and support company policies and procedures.
- Proactively address dealership payment delinquencies and support collection efforts.
- Promote sales programs and product launches for new lines and redesigns.
- Work with the Regional Manager to set monthly territory goals and monitor performance.
- Assist with forecasting to ensure appropriate product availability.
- Gather market intelligence on new product needs.
- Respond to inquiries from customers, dealers, and distributors via phone, email, or written correspondence.
- Audit dealership websites for accurate product information and images.
- Complete all assigned tasks effectively.
- Visit all dealerships monthly; moderate travel required.

Education & Experience
- Goal-oriented, outgoing, motivated, persuasive, and eager to learn.

- Professional communication skills and prioritization ability.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Windows applications.
- Experience in the snowmobile and/or motorcycle industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 3 years of industry-related sales experience required.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Some responsibilities require evening and weekend work, sometimes with little notice.

- Profitability: Manage regional P&L, meet profitability targets, operate within budget.
- Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with dealers, customers, and prospects; document activities in CRM.
- Brand Development: Grow the customer base and achieve new dealer growth targets.
