A leading retail company in Richmond Hill is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing to head their indirect procurement function. This role involves defining and executing strategic sourcing strategies while overseeing a small team and directly managing high-value categories. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of business experience, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of procurement processes. The Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing, will establish and lead the company’s indirect procurement function, reporting into the Sr. Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Capabilities. This role is accountable for defining and executing strategic sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable cost savings, enhance supplier performance, and align with enterprise objectives. The Sr. Manager will oversee a small sourcing team (Manager + Sr. Analyst), while also directly managing select high-value categories.
The role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and advancing procurement maturity across the organization.
