About MPN Electrical

MPN Electrical is a well-established and growing electrical contractor working on residential and commercial construction projects across Calgary and the BC Lower Mainland. As our operations continue to expand, we are adding an Office & Project Support Coordinator to help support internal processes, documentation, and coordination across office, project, and safety functions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, supporting multiple teams, and contributing to well-run projects in a collaborative office environment.

The Role

The Office & Project Support Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the office, project, safety, and finance teams. The focus of this role is process support, documentation, tracking, and coordination rather than executive or personal assistance.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Support
  • Support general office operations, document control, and record-keeping
  • Assist with formatting, organizing, and maintaining digital and paper files
  • Manage incoming correspondence and basic client communications
  • Support CRM data entry and internal tracking systems
Project & Operations Support
  • Assist with job tracking, documentation, and basic cost tracking
  • Support project documentation such as RFIs, change tracking, and as-built updates
  • Maintain organized project files and spreadsheets
  • Assist with drawing reviews, markups, and document control (training provided)
Payroll, Finance & Tracking Support
  • Support invoice processing and internal reconciliation tasks
  • Respond to administrative inquiries
Safety & Fleet Support
  • Assist with safety documentation tracking (training records, inspections, tools)
  • Provide basic vehicle and fleet tracking support
HR & Team Support
  • Assist with internal communications and team coordination
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.

Experience & Education
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, project coordination, or office support role
  • Post-secondary education in office administration, construction management, engineering technology, or a related field is an asset
  • Construction or trades environment experience is an asset but not required
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and document tracking
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or CRM systems is an asset
Work Style
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment
  • Comfortable working independently with guidance and established processes
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to Detail is a key requirement
Work Schedule & Location

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

In-office position (Calgary)

No weekend work required
